A Bit About Me
Hello! My name is Rebekah and I am the owner and operator of The Sidewalk Connection. As a dog owner for many years, I know that it can be difficult to find a trustworthy person to care for your pets when you need to take a trip or have a long day away from home. That's why I started The Sidewalk Connection in 2019: to give fellow pet owners peace of mind by providing quality care for their pets in the comfort of their own homes.
Through caring for my own dogs, volunteering at an animal shelter for over 8 years, and caring for my clients' pets, I have extensive experience caring for pets of all ages, breeds, and personality quirks. Clear, quick communication with clients is my top priority to ensure the health and happiness of their pets, and I send photo updates and leave full reports at the conclusion of services so clients know exactly when I was over and how their pets behaved.

I started volunteering at a small, no-kill animal shelter in Lafayette, Indiana. For many years, I volunteered weekly, taking care of dogs and cats of all ages, breeds, and personalities.
I volunteered at Wolf Park in Battle Ground, Indiana, where I learned much about canine behavior.
Since starting The Sidewalk Connection in 2019, I have provided quality care to many local cats and dogs. I have also cared for a guinea pig, calves, chickens, and goats!
